The
Lone Centurion
10-year-old
15.2 hand
Red roan QHx gelding
$6500
Rory
is the ideal mount for someone who wants a companion that
can show one weekend, trail ride on the beach the next. He
is a friendly, funny horse, with three very correct gaits,
and a scopey jump. Suitable for an amateur or a junior, and
could do lower level eventing, dressage, or show jumpers.
He has shown at a several local Combined Tests and never
placed worse than 2nd, and took his current owner to her
first dressage shows. Comfortable and straightforward to
ride, he is suitable for a newer rider looking for a safe
horse, or a more expereinced looking for a fun, simple
horse to bring along. Has also worked cattle. Sadly for
sale through no fault of his own. Lease-to-purchase option
considered to approved home and trainer.

page. Sam’s most recent competitive achievements include
being the Reserve Champion Area VI Open Novice Horse for
2008, and making his second level debut in dressage with
scores in the mid to high 60’s. He spent 2010 teaching a
tennager about eventing, winning ribbons with her at BN and
N level. She has moved on to a horse of her own, and he is
now ready to teach someone else about eventing and
dressage. This could be a spectacular opportunity for
someone looking to compete, train, and have fun.

Phoenix
Torchwood:
4-year-old,
17.0-hand, dark bay Thoroughbred-cross gelding by Reputed
Testamony out of Calypso.
Congratulations to The Cooks and Los Altos Hunt!
Gorgeous, fancy, athletic and easy—all these words describe
this lovely son of top eventing sire Reputed Testamony. The
dam has consistently thrown great brains, and “Ianto”
combines a wonderfully easy-going personality with three
lovely gaits and wonderful uphill balance. Easy to handle
on the ground—they don’t come sweeter, or easier, than
Ianto. Will be the ideal mount for a junior or amateur (a
job performed by two of his siblings already). Update:
Ianto is officiall a show horse! He's attended two combined
tests, winning one of them, and placed 7th in the Beginner
Novice at Ram Tap. Price will go up with results like
these. Snap him up now!

Phoenix
Phinale
3-year-old15.3 hand,
hestnut, unregistered Hanoverian filly by Panzyr (Pablo)
out of Ballista (Batido)
Sold! Cngratulations to Victoria!
This
typey, flashy filly is smart, sensible, and the sweetest
girl you can imagine. With three excellent, lofty and
balanced gaits, and a leggy, modern build, she promises to
be everything you could want, and more! She has the
movement for a pure dressage career, but the bravery and
athleticism to end up in one of the jumping disciplines.
Snap up a "champagne" prospect on a "beer" budget!

Winter's
Fable
8-year-old
16.0 hand, bay Thoroughbred gelding by Wintry Oak
Sold! Congratualtions to the Altizios!
Looking for the perfect first event horse? Then look no
further than Fable. Safe, sane and able, he is ideal for
the kid just moving up from a pony or an adult amateur
looking to have fun on straightforward, easy going guy.
Currently competing at training level, Fable has the talent
for more, but could also go back to the lowest levels and
help bring a rider along. A pet on the ground, a gentleman
under tack, there is simply not a nicer horse to ride or
deal with. Owner going to college, so he is sadly offered
for sale. Stop worrying, and start enjoying yor rides
again!
Manitoba
5-year-old,
17.0-hand, dark bay Thoroughbred-cross gelding
Congratulations to Cynthia!
"Toby" is a lovely youngster started by Phoenix Farm, who
is ready to find a fun new home. Imported from Canada as a
weanling, this gentle boy has been raised in a family
environment, and has the kind, unflappable temperament to
show for it. He was started under saddle as a late
three-year-old, and after a winter off was put in to
serious work this spring. He is currently doing basic flat
work and jumping small courses, and will begin attending
schooling shows shortly. He is light and forward to ride,
but absolutely grounded and sensible, with a bold and
scopey jump. Though green, he is completely suitable to be
brought along by a junior or amateur, and would excell in
eventing, jumpers, or in the hunting field. Great to hack
as well. Come snatch him up, and be having all the fun come
summer! Toby comes with a full set of digital x-rays.
UPDATE: Toby attended his first schooling show a combined
test where he finished 2nd on his dressage score of 35.5.
His behavior was perfect, and he was the charmer of the
show. This horse is special!

Russian
River
10-year-old
17.0 hand bay Thoroughbred gelding
Congratulations to Brooke and Jennifer!
This
is a tough one to list for sale, as we hadn't wanted to
sell him. But, we've got a pack of keeper homebreds coming
up, and finances dictate someone has to go. "Sisko" is a
legitimate upper level prospect in eventing, currently
competing prelim, with talent for much more. He also has
the style and scope to be an interesting prospect for the
hunter or jumper ring--especially the hunter derbies. He is
priced faily low for his talent and training, because we
know the right match will be essential. He is not a horse
suited for an inexpereinced rider, and he will need a barn
that offers year round turnout. He is not the easiest
horse, but he is worth it. This horse presents a remarkable
opportunity for an ambitious, talented rider in either the
eventing, or hunter/jumper world. We are open to an on-site
lease, and reasonable offers to the perfect situation witll
be considered.
