Valentino

       For those looking for tall, dark, and handsome, "Vinny" is it. He is schooled to 2nd level dressage and has jumped up to 3'6.  While Vinny has dressage schooling, he thinks that circles are silly and his heart lies outside of the arena. He is a trail horse extraordinaire, is very brave, and his happy to lead. Because of this, we feel that Vinny's true calling is at a hunt horse. With his dressage and jump schooling, he would be a fantastic horse to hunt during the winter and low-level event during the summer. Vinny is a point and shoot jumper, who never changes his tempo to the fences.

      Vinny is the grandma safe, kick ride horse that everyone is looking for. He would excel in 2nd or 3rd flight, and we could easily see him being a field master's horse, or a hill topping horse for an older master who just wants to get out and see the hounds. Watch out, though, Vinny will quickly become a favorite guest horse, and you may have a hard time keeping the ride for yourself! He has a ground covering trot when riding out that will be easy to ride all day long. Vinny also excels at ponying other horses, and ponies different horses on trot sets almost every day of the week for me. 

       Vinny is a loveable goof on the ground. If there was ever a labrador retriever in horse form, he is it. He loves people and attention, and is happy to meet you at the gate. Vinny is easy to handle, ties, cross ties, stands for the farrier, vet, baths, etc. He is currently sound barefoot. He is easy to load and loves going places. He is the same horse both on and off property and has been hauled off property for trail rides and mini events.
